EFY! My heart goes out to you

In the summer I choose to leave my little Provo life and venture down to the land of Georgia and Florida where I was an EFY counselor this past year and will be yet again this coming year!
Being a counselor is like nothing else in this world! It is so rewarding and so much fun at the same time. I have the opportunity to be an example to several boys and girls for a week and build relationships with some of the most incredible youth! I love being a teacher and having the opportunity to help the youth of the church discover their own testimonies and draw closer to christ! I know that it's a different world and may seem a little cheesy from an outsider's view, but words cannot express how much I love this program and how much this job means to me! Any opportnity that I have to draw closer to christ is an opportunity worth taking! I absolutely love the church and am so so so grateful that I was born into a family that raised me in the church and taught me truths and how to be happy in this life! I am also so grateful for the experiences that I've had so that I could come closer to my heavenely father and christ! I would be so lost without my savior and my testimony! Prayer is the most incredible tool in the world and alll YES all of my answers about my crazy life and the confusion that I feel are answered through my faith in christ and my faith in prayer! I can't wait to go be a counselor again this summer just because I have the opportunity to grow and teach every single day! :)

PLUS on top of that I also make the most incredible friends and get to associate with some of the most incredible people who have such strong testimonies and a great love for our savior!
