Outside Help!

So I have always had a hard time with making goals and achieving them... so I finally realized I was real sick and tired of this ongoing habit I had made and decided to fix it! I found the desire to achieve a goal and get into better habits. With that in mind I decided to share this with someone who I wasn't even that close to at the time, but who seemed to be such a sincere person that actually cared! WELL guess what? By sharing my desire to become a better person with someone else, I found myself working harder than I would have if I had just kept my goal to myself. By sharing this desire with my dear friend to accomplish this goal I really feel as though I had outside help from someone who is so close to the spirit and who could really lift me up. Well if he reads this blog he probably will know that I'm talking about him, but I just wanted to reflect on the power of support systems and having the right type of people in your life to help you become the person you're seeking to become.

Seek to help others and allow others to lift you. If you look at it the way I do you are definitely doing service whether you are the one helping or by allowing others to serve you, because that's when you're allowing others to truly be blessed!
